To fix this I would ask if you could put a filter on the Format Symbol screen
If I manually change the second symbol on the right to the Aust ALL then the left chart changes to the American ALL and the right chart becomes the Australian ALL. I format symbol on the left chart and change to the Australian symbol -> only the left chart changes to Aust ALL. If I change the chart on the left to a symbol - say ALL - Multicharts will bring up the US symbol ALL on both the left and right charts. The stock market is dynamic and symbols are constantly being changed. These files are designed for use with DataLink end-of-day data. These installation files contain the updated list of symbols and folder structure for use with DownLoader and MetaStock versions 15 and newer. I colour linked the symbols link so if I change symbol on one chart - both charts end up with the new symbol. Keep your symbol database up-to-date with MetaStock Symbol Utilities. Metastock data (daily only)- A specific format that is not user definable and can be used to plot daily, weekly, monthly, and point & figure bars. There is only one more thing that would make Multicharts very easy to use with metastock data. This indicator is no big deal because you could get the same thing by changing the price style.
